Volunteers are an integral part of the Ryan House team.
Care Team Volunteers
Care Team Volunteers assist clinical staff to meet the needs of the children and families staying at Ryan House. While the Care Team is responsible for all direct care of the children, in-house volunteers also play a vital role in supporting the needs of the Ryan House. Roles include assisting with general housework, laundry or cooking for the children, all which help to make Ryan House a home. From time to time, Volunteers are also involved in activities directly with the children such as reading, arts and crafts, games, playing music and more.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, be accepted through an interview process, attend a 30-hour orientation and commit to a 4 hour shift every week for a minimum of one year. If you are interested in becoming a Care Team Volunteer, please submit an application online through Hospice of the Valley, our Care Partner, and check Ryan House on the application form.APPLICATION
