Ryan House Hosts Open House to Showcase Unique Model of Care

 

Nearly 100 Medical Professionals Visit Ryan House To Experience Innovative Care Concept

A leader in pediatric palliative care, Ryan House is one of only two facilities of its kind in the U.S.

PHOENIX (Feb. 27, 2017) – Nearly 100 medical professionals in town for the 2017 Annual American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Care Conference attended an Open House on Friday, Feb. 24 for an exclusive look at Ryan House, a Phoenix-based non-profit and leader in pediatric palliative care.

The Open House allowed medical professionals from around the country the unique opportunity to tour Ryan House, one of only two facilities of its kind in the country. Guests learned first-hand about the innovative programs and services Ryan House provides to Arizona’s most medically fragile children and their families, including respite care, palliative care, end-of-life care, child life and bereavement. 

“As Ryan House celebrates its seventh year with open doors and open hearts, we are proud to share our model with medical professionals from around the country,” said Ryan House Executive Director Alyssa Crockett. “Ryan House is a national leader in pediatric palliative care. Our vision is to create a sustainable model for other states to replicate.”
