Event Spotlight: Fall Festival

by Erin Furnish

Spiderman, Ironman, and a Ryan House family walked into our Fall Festival….The result? A fabulous afternoon spent with some wonderful kids and volunteers!

This year’s Fall Festival was a labor of love from a variety of groups. Volunteers helped us to set up, run our games, and direct families where to park for the event. We even had groups from Comicare and Medieval Times come dressed up as heroes, knights and queens to make the event special for our kids!

We had 150 kids and families attend this annual Ryan House event, and had a blast. A witch’s hat ring toss, cookie decorating, and a spooky sensory station were a few of the activities families enjoyed. We are so thankful to everyone who participated, and are already looking forward to our Holiday Party!
